Toy Cars

Brayden and Landon received toy cars for Valentine's Day from Nana and Papa.  You just have to shake the car and then it drives all by itself.  The boys love them and I wanted to post this as a big THANK YOU!

High Chair Sleeper

I always love those photos and videos when kids fall asleep at the dinner table.  It has never happened in our family until yesterday.  Landon was so tired that he took two bites of his meal and then conked out.  He didn't fall face down into his food though.  I was kind of hoping... (is that mean?)

Valentine's Day

Ronnie and I were able to go out for Valentine's Day thanks to my sister Kaylie, brothers Corey and Cobey, and friend (sister really) Julia.   We enjoyed dinner with friends and then a special Valentine's Day show with the GreenRoom.  I know the boys had a great time while we were gone!  Thanks guys!

Bumbo Baby

The Bumbo seat was a gift from my parents when Landon was born.  It's such a funny seat.  Even when babies are too tiny to sit on their own, the seat forms to their body and allows them to sit up without help.  Of course, Gavin is probably still too tiny for the seat, but I couldn't help sticking him in there and seeing how he did.  Brayden and Landon thought it was hilarious.

As much as I try, Gavin will simply not smile for the camera.  He ends up making these ridiculous faces, as you can see in the pictures.  Oh well, I still find him adorable even though he isn't very photogenic yet!

Just Like Daddy

Ronnie was playing his guitar the other night, and Brayden pulled out his and started jammin' right along with Ronnie.  It's so cute to watch the boys imitate Ronnie.  They really look up to him.  They also have quite a few musical uncles to look up to, so I'm sure we will end up with one or two musicians in the future.  Who knows, maybe we'll start our own version of the Jonas Brothers!  Ha ha.

Superbowl

We spent Superbowl Sunday over at my parent's house.  There were many people there to watch the game and celebrate my brother Cobey's birthday.  Cobey was born on Superbowl Sunday nineteen years ago.  It was the year Joe Montana was quarterback and my parents say they thought about naming him 'Montana'.  But hey, 'Christie, Kellie, Kaycie, Corey, and Montana' doesn't quite have that flow...  And think about all of the "Hannah Montana" jokes he'd have to put up with today!

Anyway, my brother pulled out all of these 3D glasses that you were supposed to wear for the Superbowl commercials.  Everyone was wearing them and trying to see if the commercials truly were 3D, or if it was just some giant marketing plot.  Even Landon tried on a pair.
