New Photos

It has been another fun week at the Follett home.  The boys and I have been keeping busy.  We spent Memorial Day over at my parents house, where Brayden and Landon enjoyed a trip to the new park.  Landon also discovered a tub of Vaseline and gobbed it in his hair.  Just in case you were wondering-- Vaseline does not wash out of hair!   He's had a sticky head for the past few days.   We've also been garage-saling the last couple weeks and have enjoyed some new toys and games.  We bought Landon a new toddler bed, and he's enjoyed sleeping like a big boy in it!

Update!

There hasn't been much to update about, since I've been pretty busy lately with CYT!  Mulan, the newest CYT show I've been working on, had a great opening weekend and we are now on a little break this week, with one more weekend of shows coming up next weekend (after Memorial Day).  It's been a nice experience for me, although CYT is getting harder and harder to do with kids.  I think I'll have to take a nice long break from directing until Brayden is a cast member in CYT, and then we can do it together!  Ronnie and I were just watching Brayden the other day as he interacted with the CYT cast kids.... oh man, he's gonna be a CYT kid through and through.

The last few days have been beautiful and we've spent a lot of time outdoors.  We walked to Culvers today to get some ice cream for the boys.  Brayden turned 4 on Sunday, and Landon turned 2 today!  They are still pretty young to understand the concept of birthdays, but I hope they felt special.  I brought out the sprinkler for the first time since last summer.  Landon was quite hesitant at first, but once he saw Brayden enjoying himself, he warmed up to it quickly.  They love to drink the water, and it brings me back to when I was a kid.  I loved to drink from the hose... I thought the cold water tasted fabulous.

Gavin is now 5 months old, and he's enjoying solid foods.  He's still such a sweet and happy boy... what a great baby.  He also makes the craziest facial expressions I've ever seen.  I love to capture these, because I know they will be great to embarrass him with as he grows older.   What are moms for?  =)

Super Smiler

I love this age that Gavin is at.  He smiles so much... it's so rewarding!
