So, we finally did it. We broke down and bought a minivan. Since this new baby will be here in less than three months (I can't believe it!), Ronnie's been doing a lot of research to find us a new vehicle that will be in our family for awhile. We eventually bought this Honda Odyssey minivan. Neither of us were too thrilled with the idea of driving a minivan around, but I have to admit, I love it!!! Yes, I've been called 'soccer mom' several times in the last couple weeks, but it's the nicest car we've ever owned!
The best perk: the DVD player inside. Honestly, I used to think (prior to having children) that moms who put DVDs on for their kids in the car were lazy. Yikes! I couldn't be more wrong! It's a lifesaver for those long car rides when the poor boys are strapped in their seats and can't move at all. The only movies Landon will watch are Baby Einstein, so I've been listening to a lot of classical music lately! Here are some pictures of the new car... and no, I don't think we'll ever put a 'soccer mom' bumper sticker on the back!

I've had two kids for 2 days and I'm already ready for a mini-van! I love it. You'll have to bring the whole fam up in the van to visit soon. We loved seeing Ronnie the other day. Miss you!
Welcome to the club Christie! I've fallen in love with our van ... I must admit it started out as more of a hate relationship but it has blossomed into a love relationship over time. It's nice for all the extra space though, isn't it?
