Roomie Reunion
Father's Day
We had a great Father's Day. After bringing Ronnie breakfast in bed, we went to church (where Ronnie had to stand up and be acknowledged as a father), and then over to Nana and Papa's house for a nice swim. Pop Pop took Gavin in the pool for his first swim of the summer. He loved the water!! He splashed around so much. We also gave Brayden and Landon their belated birthday gift-- a pint-sized 4-wheeler! So much fun! They love to drive it, and both of them are improving in their maneuvering skills. Thank you to all who contributed to the gift. They love it!
On a serious note, I wanted to thank both Ronnie and my dad for being terrific fathers.
Ronnie, you are so good with the boys. You love them, guide them and instruct them, and set a great example of a manly, godly role model. I know they are so proud to have you as a daddy! We love you!
Pop Pop, thank you for your involvement in the boys lives. They love you to pieces and truly enjoy spending time with you. Thank you for your patience in teaching them and playing with them. We love you!

New Toys!
We celebrated Brayden and Landon's birthdays this past weekend. Even though their birthdays are in May, I postponed the party until June so that it would be nice and warm outside. Hmm.... not so much. Luckily, the rain stopped and so we were still able to sit outside and eat and play. The boys received some terrific toys for their birthday. We've been enjoying them thoroughly! They have played on the new slip and slide, sat on their new Batman couches, and been fascinated by a new sprinkler that shoots balls up in the air. We are so thankful for our family and friends, and we loved celebrating with you!

Trip to the Zoo
We took a trip to the zoo today! It was a beautiful day, and we were joined by Aunt Kellie, Uncle Nate, Cousin Caleb, Nana, Aunt Kaylie, and Aunt Julia. What a fun time! We literally spent all day there, and the boys had a blast. The highlights of the day were the playful seals, the polar bears (a mom and baby), the big brown bear that walked straight up to the window!, the beautiful giraffes, and the merry-go-round ride! Brayden's favorite were the cheetahs, and Landon was excited about everything! Gavin pretty much chilled in the stroller most of the day. The older boys loved running through the elephant sprinkler. Brayden was soaked! We even managed to get a couple cousin shots. Caleb is quite the cutie, and he even smiled for a few photos! The pictures tell the story well!
